Author: Brodi Ashton

Plot: This is a short novella that explains more about the character Cole and his life between the time period from end of first book Everneath to the beginning of the second book, Everbound

Rating: 3/5

strangely my experiences and brush with reading all my favourite young adult novels re written and narrated through the eyes of male penned by of course female authors and their “wishful thinking” have made me notice that every male point of view versions start with the male waking up after a heavy alcohol and passed out session as if that is what is needed to define the male species…oh wait…but then it is actually true…so yeah…whatever..

fortunately the male POV has some witty lines to keep my blood calm

either my coping level of male POvs by female authors have tremendously increased or it was actually better, i did find neverfall good… not the best …but good

There is definitely a good plot and is interesting to read as well but for me it still bleeds from scar to the masculinity of the character that readers adored and cherished for being totally bad-ass and lack of emotional outbursts but still the fact remains that this is by far a better female written male POV in my opinion.
