James Patterson fans can watch out for a new twist in his next book. The author is teaming up with none other than the the 42nd POTUS, Bill clinton for his next book. With the new book from James Patterson house, The President is Missing, Bill Clinton writes his first Thriller Fiction.
The President Is Missing will be published in June 2018 by Knopf and Little, Brown, billed as a “unique amalgam of intrigue, suspense and behind-the-scenes global drama”. It is said that the book would contain insider information that only a President could know. According to James “Readers will be given an inside look into what it’s really like to be President.” The President is Missing will be Clinton’s first work of fiction alhough the former US President has already penned bestselling My Life, Giving and Back to Work.
Interestingly it is also reported that Clinton and Patterson have retained Creative Artists Agency’s (CAA) Richard Lovett to handle the rights and plan to meet with potential filmmakers, likely in California, later in the spring
James Patterson, The bestselling author of Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider has sold more than 350 million books and holds the Guinness World Record for the most number one New York Times bestsellers. Atleast according to the facts mentioned on the Author’s site.Forbes values Patterson at $95 million, calling him publishing’s richest and busiest penman who produces more than a dozen books a year with co-authors.
Patterson called his Clinton collaboration “the highlight” of his career. “Having access to his first-hand experience has uniquely informed the writing of this novel,” he said. “I’m a storyteller, and president Clinton’s insight has allowed us to tell a really interesting one.”
Clinton on the other hand has written a string of books, including his post-office 2004 best-selling memoir My Life. Other books include Between Hope and History, Giving: How Each of Us Can Change the World and Back to Work: Why We Need Smart Government for a Strong Economy
