Review: PROMISE ME A MILLION TIMES
Book: PROMISE ME A MILLION TIMES
Plot: Believing life always gives us all a second chance is too bookish.
Because sometimes, when we finally know our faults, the times
acutely change from what they once used to be.
Like a couple of migratory birds, both Charlie and Edwin leave everything back in their village and settle for a new life in a big city. For Edwin, it was where he was going to chase his dreams, but for Charlie, it was just another place to be with his only friend. However, when he meets Aster, who was silently walking through instabilities of her own destiny, he was in for an absolute unthoughtful phase of profoundness that was going to last forever.

its definitely bringing a change
Let me be honest in saying that i am probably biased when it comes to this book but no matter how much biased and opinionated i am, others who are raving about it can’t be wrong and i standby the fact that this book brings out a benchmark for its category and a fresh breath of air in romance category especially for the indian market where every romance book is just following a particular template blindly and without the basic element- romance in it. So the book in many ways for me personally have brought a change
Its not easy to bring out the emotions in its full form through the use of mere words and that is where I find the book absolutely fantastic for its raw and yet impressive portrayal of emotions, the weakness and strength of characters. The author has in perfect manner brought out the character strength and most importantly the romance just shines through the book.
Yes I picked up this book expecting to read a romance but what I in turn got from the book is much more than that. It did well than any life coach to instill many important lessons. The thoughts that the book had on relationships and friendship was so impressive that I couldn’t fathom that a romance book could be so profound
One of the most important things that I noticed is how with few words, the author could not only just portray the pain, joy and sorrows of the characters but he even manages to bring that out from the readers as well and this is a feature that is only achieved by very few people and that is why I am so impressed by the book but since this is a romance book to begin with, lets discuss the romance.
The relationship and the yearning of the central characters and the phase of their growing together in love is so tangible that I guess no book has ever been able to strike so hard the readers with its emotions. I couldn’t stop my tears from flowing from the onset as the emotions were that real and tangible
I am truly amazed and impressed by the book and I could only imagine what the author would bring up next in his book.
