Savagery of a blabbering girl

There were two reasons why I had decided to continue the series

  1.  because of my reading mate and
  2.  because Isis had impressed me so much in the first book that I could keep away from her.

In fact the whole book had shined and sparkled because of Isis’s wit and humor. She had spread the magic and made the book alive with her character strength and maybe somewhere around the author too knew too it and perhaps decided to ride on this a little more as to me she took it a little too far in the second book because even though snarky and sharp as eve, Isis was a little over board in the sequel. Half of what she said didn’t make any sense. Didn’t even contributed to the chapter but at the same time I will admit was definitely hilarious but then there was a story to cater too and we couldn’t linger around with blabbers for too long

The girl rambles and blabbers a lot and the narration changes right in the middle of the a chapter making it a little difficult to track.

Alright !!

Listen up people for this would perhaps be the only time when I am going to say this.

For the first time ever I felt the male pov was better. In fact I felt it saved the book as the only part that was sensible and actually meant anything in the book were the portions of male pov. I felt 70%of the book was Isis’s incoherent blabbers and the actual book was just 30% of the whole volume. But even so it still remains a good series

The second book was like a wind , comes and goes so quick before you can even sit to realize and you might want to keep the third book at arm’s length because the second book leaves you hanging in midair

If you loved the first book because of the character Isis then prepared to get irate by the same in the book. The second book seemed to be more an attempt at portraying more of Isis’s wit and sharp tongue than actually focusing on the story. Meanwhile the only part that is actually worth reading is the male Pov areas which too comes and goes very quick . Series is good so for the sake of continuing it, you could try the book.
