Doesn’t stick around for long
Huge thanks to the author for providing me with a copy of the book
To begin with, I thought the book was a hilarious and snarky approach and it was absolutely brainy idea to use a popular movie and to make a literary spoof to tell the plight of authors trying to write their first book.
Yes I love the theme and concept but sadly i couldn’t agree with the execution of the book because the humor and the satire were failing to convey the proper message most of the times. At times it was witty but otherwise it just went on to become plain spoof that wavered away from the theme of the book
The reason for this is perhaps that the characters were not set properly or represented correctly to echo the purpose they were set in. The role of Paro for instance fails to represent the sketch of a book waiting to be written.
The book opens quite refreshingly and must say was something completely different to what I have read ever and I did enjoy it. I wish a little more shaping was done to each characters so that they could have made much more clearer picture and loud enough to convey the purpose of the book. The book also suffers from a pretty abrupt ending as well
In short the book has a very unique concept and attempt and is pretty hilarious but sadly execution lacks at the hands of improper definitions of characters but otherwise for a short story it is a nice entertaining read.
