Review

Truly Ever bounded to it

I got through the first book quite calmly and civilized because for me the first book was a unique yet different approach to the greek mythologies that we have heard and learnt about and especially that of Hades and Persephone. I picked up the second book because I thought that the first book was harmless and good enough so the second book hopefully extended the flow. Not only did it extend the whole plot and narration beautifully but it took it to a level that made me an addict to the book and refurnishing my love to the series with a newfound intensity.

While Everneath left us at cliffhanger, you would expect that everbound, the second in the series would give you answers and finally close all the loose ends. Yes the loose ends have closure, but the fact remains that everneath leaves us at another cliffhanger altogether which is not a bad thing but is also not good for the fans of everneath series.

While the first book saw Jack plunging his life for the sake of Nikki, the second book follows nikki’s efforts in saving jack and her love and interestingly it is cole who comes up as the savior for the day.

Why should you pick up the book? Because the story is weaved amazingly with so much twists and thrills that you will fall in love with the book and series if you have not already from the first book. I felt second book was outstanding and majority of this is solely because of the character Cole. If you loved cole or were even intrigued a tiny bit in Everneath, your prayers have been answered and Everbound brings Cole to you like never before.

I love the how the greek mythologies have been molded to make an amazing story by the author

While First book was ok, Second book totally made me fall in love with this series. Undoubtedly second book is the best with amazing revelations, story flow and beautiful, simple narration. Second book is for you if you loved cole and wanted more of him. The book is definitely a rush
