Movie Review: The Family

Movie: The Family

Plot: Based on the Book by Tonino Benacquista, the movie is a comic uptake on a gangster and his family who has been taken under witness protection Program and moves into a new french town

Rating: 4/5

The movie is funny, entertaining and see Robert De Niro ,Michelle Pfeiffer and Tommy Lee Jones in the best of their performances and leaves the audience laughing and enjoying at every scene and not to forget Dianna Agron, and John D’Leo as crazy children of this mafia family.

The story is clean and does not force you with struggled comedy that doesn’t makes sense and in fact the movie is in a good pace and does not drag unnecessarily. You will love De Niro who just is tailor-made for Italian Mobster roles except that in this movie he makes you see why he is good with comedy as much as he is with any other genre. Michelle Pfeiffer is another good point of the movie and as expected from the trailer, the movie is impressive and is bang on.

I loved and laughed through the entire movie and this is a family oriented family as in the name itself and you could easily pick this up for your movie night with friends without cliché and yet tickling your laughing bone.

I had a fun time watching it and hope everybody else too.
