Book Review: Beastly

Book Name: Beastly

Author : Alex Flinn

Genre: Fantasy/ Modern take on Beauty and the Beast

Verdict : 4/5

VERY LIGHT AND FUN READ

Beastly was a detox for me after the agony of raven boys written by maggie stiefvater.

Beastly was a pure joy reading and i was so impressed by its lack of complications and yet gripping and interesting plot. well technically beastly tells you about the age old story of beauty and the beast and yet the book still manages to impress.

what i like about the book is that it is a very light read written in pure fantasy fashion without much complications or depth or inner layers. you just read the book and enjoy it as it is written and nothing to actually put your brain into

this is not for you if you like your books with some heavy thoughts or meanings in fact this book can be suggested to somebody who is actually stepping into the world of books for the first time.

it might not be everybody’s cup of tea but is a book that you can read for pure fun and light entertainment.Image
